It was a great day: Chris McCormack won the IRONMAN world championship on Hawaii
We finally made it, Chris said to me yesterday late at night, and this is how he is. He does not say »he made it«, he says we made it - an outstanding personality!
Macca finished the marathon in 2:40:0… I forgot, but it was just breathtaking. More is about to come. But the guys are sleeping in today. They deserve it.
Yeah, and BIEST BOOSTERS arrived, not the ones we sent by DHL, no, we had a guy flying in on Friday from Frankfurt. He arrived yesterday just when Chris was in the transition from the bike to the run. Today therefore is the big BOOSTER day!
One day before the race at the bike check-in
We made some podcasts while people were waiting for checkig in their bikes. Our questions were straight forward: how long are you going to sleep and how how long will it take you to finish the race.
Chasing DHL up the hill
Since we miss our beloved BIEST BOOSTERS we don’t miss out any occasion to track the precious stuff. Here we follow a DHL vehicel up the hill to cedarhouse, the marvellous B&B we live in.
